You
can't judge ppm by kills only. 90-10 score is definitely going to give
more ppm than 120-30 score. But even that doesn't necessarily show
anything - it all depends on when you die (for example, 29sec after
first kill or 31sec) and whether you kill with body or head shots (in
FA2) or whether you do damage and get xp without killing (FA1). For
example, on your Minas map (129 kills, 39 min) you got 387-645 xp
depending on headshots. That's 9.9-16.5 ppm from kills. Let's say
average is 12. The other 4 ppm or 156 xp came from battle sense. All
seems logical.
On the first screenshot, it's possible the Loc guy
just threw a lot more medpacks or you just did a lot of bodyshots.
Also, 8 minutes is such a short time that TB measuring errors have more
effect on ppm than on long maps.
Also, medpacks are really
important. For example, if you die 30 times on a 30 minute map and throw
3 medpacks every time you leave the spawn, you get 3 more ppm. And 3
ppm is huge in FA2.
About
battle sense xp - you get it every 30 seconds. If you do damage, you
get 2 xp, if you do AND receive damage, you get 5 xp, if you kill AND
receive damage, you get 8 xp.
Tip nr 1: even if you can't get a kill, always try to hit AND receive at least 1 bullet every 30 sec.
Tip
nr 2: if you go around ninja style killing everyone and getting sprees,
let some noobs shoot you for at least 1 dmg every 30 sec, or you will
only get 2 xp, not 8, even if you kill.
On a perfect 30 min map, always killing and 0 deaths, you get 480 xp or 16 ppm JUST from battle sense. So yes, it's important.
One
more tip - if you see lots of mines, spot them with binocs. They give
crazy xp. Sometimes you can get 100 xp (3+ ppm) for just spotting mines
one time.
